About the Role
Build and scale the backend services powering our live games — from leaderboards and matchmaking to in-app purchases and real-time events.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful and WebSocket APIs for game services
- Optimize database queries and caching strategies (Redis)
- Integrate third-party SDKs (payment gateways, analytics, ads)
- Monitor service health and respond to on-call alerts
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend development experience
- Proficiency in Node.js and/or Go
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP)
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
